Stillness.

21st-24th May 2026 | Limited Spaces

A Spring Yoga Residency by The Glowin’

21–24 May | Château de Cadrès, France

Nestled within the serene Château de Cadrès, Stillness invites you to step away from the pace of everyday life and into three nights of gentle rhythm and presence. Days unfold with sunlit yoga sessions, quiet moments for journaling or wandering the château gardens, and nourishing meals crafted to support body and mind. Evenings are held in soft candlelight, where a sound journey encourages reflection, release, and calm. Here, time is measured not by schedules but by attention — to breath, to body, to self. Small-group, high-touch, and intentionally intimate, Stillness offers a space to simply be, to rest, and to prepare for the season ahead.

This is an invitation into rhythm, presence, and care. This is a space to arrive, listen, and prepare for the next chapter of the year.

Stillness is for those who long to step out of the everyday pace and into a held, intentional space. It is for anyone seeking presence, calm, and gentle restoration, rather than performance or productivity.

The Wellness.

The wellness experience at Stillness is guided by Harriet Cherry, founder of The Glowin’. Each day is gently structured around movement, breath, and rest, offering space to slow down and reconnect without pressure or performance.

Practices are adaptive and intuitive, drawing from yoga, breath work, meditation, myofascial release, and sound. Rather than fixed styles or rigid sequences, each session responds to the energy of the group and the individual — meeting you where you are on the day. Movement may be flowing or slow, grounding or restorative, always with the intention of supporting the body and settling the nervous system.

Alongside mat-based practices, you’ll be invited into moments of quiet presence in nature: from barefoot grounding and gentle walks, to time spent simply being in the surrounding landscape. These experiences are not about doing more, but about creating space: space to listen, to soften, and to return to yourself.

Throughout the retreat, there is room for conversation, questions, and personal guidance. Whether you’re curious about a posture, seeking support with rest and recovery, or wishing to deepen your meditation practice, Harriet offers thoughtful, 1:1 attention within the shared experience.

The approach is simple and human: a safe, non-judgemental space, where you’re encouraged to move, rest, and breathe in a way that feels right for you.

Wellness Practices Include

  • Adaptive yoga & gentle movement

  • Myofascial release & restorative practices

  • Meditation & breath work

  • Sound journeys

  • Outdoor grounding & time in nature

  • Space for rest, reflection, and integration

The Sanctuary.

Set within ten hectares of private parkland and forest, Château de Cadrès offers a quiet, considered setting for rest and reflection. Thoughtfully restored, the château preserves its architectural character while creating spaces that feel calm, spacious, and timeless.

A dedicated studio overlooks the surrounding sequoia trees and rolling landscape, providing a light-filled space for movement, meditation, and sound practices. Terraces encircle the château, opening onto wide views of the countryside and offering places to pause, read, or simply sit with the day.

Between sessions, time is intentionally left unstructured — whether spent by the pool, walking the grounds, or resting in the shade. The setting supports a slower rhythm, allowing the retreat to unfold naturally and without distraction.

A Day at the Château.

    • Yoga unfolds in a sun-filled studio or terrace to awaken the body.

    • Breakfast follows in the dining room to nourish yourself for the day.

    • There is space to journal, to walk through the gardens, or simply to pause with a cup of tea.

    • Nourishing seasonal meals punctuate the day.

    • Afternoons are unhurried & experienced at your pace.

    • Optional 1:1 practice, or massage treatments to be enjoyed.

    • Dinner follows, a slow meal shared in around the table in good company.

    • Night closes with time for journaling or gentle contemplation before retreating to your room.

Here, days are measured not by the clock but by attention — by the depth of presence, the calm of stillness, and the gentle unfolding of the self.

The Cuisine.

Meals at Stillness are an integral part of the retreat experience — simple, considered, and nourishing. The cuisine is vegetarian, prepared with care and intention, supporting both the rhythm of the days and the practices on the mat.

The dishes are seasonal and thoughtfully balanced, offering nourishment that feels grounding without heaviness. Shared at the table, the meals create a natural pause in the day. Offering moments to slow down, connect, and enjoy food without distraction.

Tea, coffee, and herbal infusions are available throughout the day, allowing you to move between practice, rest, and meals at an unhurried pace. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice, ensuring each guest feels supported and cared for.
